July 17 (Bloomberg) -- The Czech Republic’s PX stock index increased 0.7 percent to 907.8 by the end of trade in Prague.
The following were among the most active equities in the Czech market today. Stock symbols follow company names.
Erste Group Bank AG (RBAG CP) jumped 2 percent to 386.20 koruna, its biggest rally in more than two weeks. The Austrian lender was rated buy in new coverage at VTB Capital.
Komercni Banka AS (KOMB CP), a unit of Societe Generale SA, added 1.8 percent to 3,415 koruna. Czech lenders have “ample capital and liquidity” and stress tests show the country’s financial system can withstand “substantial shocks,” the International Monetary Fund said today in a report.
