July 11 (Bloomberg) -- The 30-stock Micex Index lost 1.2 percent to 1,405.15 by the close in Moscow. The dollar-denominated RTS Index dropped 0.5 percent to 1,355.86.
The following are among the most active equities in the Russian market today. Stock symbols are in parenthesis.
Polymetal International Plc (POLY LN) tumbled 4.9 percent to 834 pence in London, the most since May 23. The stock fell as a court ruled the Russian gold and silver miner will pay about $27 million in additional taxes and fines.
OAO Raspadskaya (RASP RX) lost 0.7 percent to 85.47 rubles, the first decline in three days. The coal producer fell as coal output dropped 1 percent to 3.4 million tons in the first half of the year.
VTB Group (VTBR RX) declined 3 percent to 5.54 kopeks, the lowest level since June 28. UBS AG added Russia’s second-largest lender to its list of least-preferred stocks, citing the bank’s reliance on income from trading.
