July 11 (Bloomberg) -- The Czech Republic’s PX stock index fell for a third day, poised for its longest stretch of losses in a month. The benchmark slid 0.1 percent to 903.30 as of 1:47 p.m. in Prague.

Erste Group Bank AG (RBAG CP) erased a 2.2 percent decline after the European Banking Authority said the region’s banks increased capital reserves by $116 billion and Erste exceeded the regulator’s targets. The Austrian lender traded 0.1 percent stronger at 379.8 koruna, and jumped 1.4 percent to 14.96 euros in Vienna, its home market.
New World Resources Plc (NWR CP), the biggest Czech coking-coal producer, dropped 0.3 percent to 102.5 koruna, its third day of losses. Europe’s benchmark coal futures contracts fell 0.3 percent to $96 a metric ton in the Netherlands, a fourth day of declines.
