July 10 (Bloomberg) -- The Czech Republic’s PX stock index dropped 0.5 percent to 904.20 at the close in Prague, a second day of declines.
The following were among the most active equities in the Czech market today. Stock symbols follow company names.
AAA Auto Group NV (AAA CP) increased 0.6 percent, the most in a week, to 18.34 koruna, after earlier rising as much as 2.5 percent. The chain of used-car dealerships in central and eastern Europe said today it sold 16 percent more vehicles in the first half of the year than in the same period of 2011.
CEZ AS (CEZ CP) rose 1.1 percent to 713 koruna, rallying for a third day, the longest run of gains in more than a month. The biggest Czech power utility was raised to neutral from underperform at Credit Suisse Group AG.
New World Resources Plc (NWR CP), the biggest Czech coking-coal producer, retreated 1.4 percent to 103 koruna, a second day of losses. Europe’s benchmark coal derivatives fell for a third day, losing 0.3 percent to $96.75 koruna.
