July 7 (Bloomberg) -- A Saudi Arabian court sentenced two Asian men to 3,000 lashes each and five years in jail for kidnapping a compatriot in Riyadh, Arab News reported.
The two men had taken the victim to a farm in south Riyadh, then demanded ransom from a relative for his release, the Jeddah-based newspaper reported, citing a police statement in court. The paper didn’t reveal their nationalities.
