July 4 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Argentine trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of the close in Buenos Aires. The Merval index rose 0.5 percent to 2,426.56.
Banco Hipotecario SA (BHIP AF) rose 0.8 percent to 1.22 pesos. Argentina’s largest mortgage lender said it prepaid about $11.6 million in bonds due 2016, according to a statement posted on the website of the Buenos Aires exchange.
YPF SA (YPFD AF) rose 1.5 percent to 85.25 pesos, its highest price in five weeks. Argentina’s largest oil company increased gasoline prices by an average 3.6 percent, the company said in an e-mailed response to questions, confirming an earlier report from newspaper La Nacion.
Tenaris SA (TS AF) fell 0.8 percent to 117 pesos. The world’s largest producer of seamless steel tubes used in the oil industry fell in line with the price of crude.
