Turkish Bond Yields Rise First Time in Five Days; Lira Weakens

Turkish bond yields rose for the first time in five days and the lira weakened against the dollar.

Yields on two-year benchmark debt climbed four basis points, or 0.04 percentage point, to 8.51 percent at 9:38 a.m. in Istanbul. The lira depreciated 0.2 percent to 1.8116 per dollar, paring its gain this year to 4.2 percent.
