Grimsson Leads in Early Count of Votes in Presidential Election

June 30 (Bloomberg) -- Iceland’s President Olafur R. Grimsson led with 45.3 percent after the first 1,000 votes had been counted, according to the country’s electorate commission.

Trailing Grimsson was Thora Arnorsdottir with 35.9 percent of the votes.
