June 28 (Bloomberg) -- Alro SA, a Romanian aluminum producer, said it invested $15 million in the first five months to increase its energy efficiency.
This year’s investment adds to the $77 million already spent by the company since 2005 to reduce its energy consumption, it said in a filing to the Bucharest Stock Exchange today. The Slatina, Romania-based company is majority owned by Vimetco NV.
