June 22 (Bloomberg) -- Novak Djokovic of Serbia will start the defense of his Wimbledon title against former French Open champion Juan Carlos Ferrero of Spain.
The top seeded Djokovic was drawn in the same half as six-time champion Roger Federer, meaning the two may meet in the semifinals. The third-seeded Swiss plays Spain’s Albert Ramos in the first round.
French Open champion Rafael Nadal of Spain plays Thomaz Bellucci of Brazil. The second-seeded Spaniard was drawn in the same half as Andy Murray. The fourth-seeded Briton plays Russia’s Nikolay Davydenko.
The Wimbledon championships starts June 25 at the All England Club in southwest London.
