June 20 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Vietnam trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close in Ho Chi Minh City. The VN Index, the benchmrk measure of the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, rose 0.4 percent to 432.89.
Lam Son Sugar Joint-Stock Co. (LSS VN), which manufactures sugar and alcoholic products, increased 2.7 percent to 26,800. Raw-sugar futures for October delivery climbed 4 percent to 20.79 cents a pound in New York, the biggest gain since June 6.
Taicera Industrial Ceramics Joint-Stock Co. (TCR VN), which manufactures and ships ceramic tiles, rose 1.5 percent to 6,600 dong. The company will pay its shareholders a dividend of 600 dong a share on July 20, it said in a statement on the bourse’s website.
