Ukraine May Abolish VAT on Imported Oil, Kommersant Reports

June 20 (Bloomberg) -- Ukraine’s government is considering abolishing a value-added tax on imported crude oil to stabilize the market, Kommersant-Ukraine newspaper reported, citing a person with knowledge of the matter from the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry.

The tax may be scrapped for 10 million metric tons of oil a year that’s being processed at Ukrainian refineries, the newspaper said.
