June 21 (Bloomberg) -- Japanese investors were net buyers of foreign bonds during the week ended June 15 according to figures based on reports from designated major investors released by the Ministry of Finance in Tokyo.
Japanese investors bought 70.8 billion yen ($890.7 million) in overseas bonds and notes, bought 41.1 billion yen in overseas stocks and bought 19.4 billion yen in overseas short term securities. That results in a total net purchase of 131.3 billion yen.
Foreign investors bought 412.6 billion yen in Japanese bonds, bought 58.8 billion yen in stocks, and sold 1149.2 billion yen in short term securities, resulting in a total net sale 677.8 billion yen.
