Security Workers to Strike at German Airports Today, Union Says

June 19 (Bloomberg) -- Private security workers plan to hold a two-hour strike today at several German airports, including, Frankfurt, over working conditions and wages, the union ver.di said in a statement today.

The strikes are expected this morning at airports in Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Bremen and Hanover, the union said. Passengers may see disruptions at security gates.

Ver.di is negotiating a new wage agreement and the next meeting is planned for July 27.
