Alrosa Names Former Russian Railways’ Ryaschin First Deputy CEO

June 19 (Bloomberg) -- OAO Alrosa, Russia’s state-run diamond miner, named former OAO Russian Railways executive Ilya Ryaschin as first deputy chief executive officer.

Andrey Polyakov, an Alrosa spokesman, confirmed the hiring by phone. Ryaschin was previously head of the budget planning department of Russian Railways, a state-controlled company where Alrosa CEO Fyodor Andreev worked as a vice-president until 2009.
