June 18 (Bloomberg) -- Italy is financing a $3 million project aimed at improving food security and nutrition for women and young people in Egypt, the United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organization said.
The program will help teach skills including growing crops, raising small animals, selling food products and making organic fertilizer, the Rome-based FAO said today in a statement on its website. The project also will promote nutrition education, the UN agency said.
