June 18 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of the market close.
The Lima General Index rose for the first time in seven days, gaining 0.4 percent to 20,714.60. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index climbed 1 percent to 2,745.64.
Empresa Siderurgica del Peru SAA (SIDERC1 PE), a unit of Gerdau SA known as Siderperu, rose 2.9 percent to 72 centimos as investors bet the construction industry will expand on increased public spending on infrastructure, said Inteligo SAB analyst Rodrigo Zuazo.
Ferreyros SA (FERREYC1 PE), the Lima-based distributor for Caterpillar Inc., gained 1.5 percent to 2.69 soles.
Candente Copper Corp. (DNT PE), a Canadian copper exploration company, climbed 1.8 percent to 57 cents as copper advanced for a fourth day in New York.
Panoro Minerals Ltd. (PML PE), a Canadian copper and gold exploration company, rose 1.5 percent to 69 cents.
Refineria la Pampilla SA (RELAPAC1 PE), a unit of Repsol YPF SA known as Relapasa, fell 1.5 percent to 64 centimos as crude slumped in New York.
Maple Energy Plc (MPLE PE), the oil and natural gas producer with operations in Peru, slid 0.9 percent to $1.07.
