Garnett Fined $25,000 for Shunning Media After Being Eliminated

June 13 (Bloomberg) -- Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett was fined $25,000 for failing to make himself available to the media after the team was eliminated by the Miami Heat in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the National Basketball Association said in a statement.

Miami beat Boston 101-88 on June 9.
