June 13 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Chilean trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and prices are as of the close in Santiago.
The Ipsa index fell 0.6 percent to 4,255.47. The MSCI Chile index dropped 0.2 percent to 2,307.88.
Corpbanca (CORPBANC CC) rose 0.7 percent to 6.29 pesos, its second day of gains. Chile’s fifth-largest lender plans to complete the acquisition of Banco Santander SA’s Colombian unit this month, Chairman Jorge Andres Saieh said today at an event in Santiago.
Enersis SA (ENERSIS CC), the Latin American unit of Spain’s Endesa SA, gained 0.3 percent to 175.31 pesos after two days of losses. Chilean generators of hydroelectric power rose today as rainfall in central Chile during the past two days increased reservoir levels.
Colbun SA (COLBUN CC), the country’s third-largest power generator, increased 0.3 percent to 136.94 pesos.
Lan Airlines SA (LAN CC) retreated 2.9 percent to 12,956 pesos, the steepest drop in almost two weeks. Latin America’s largest airline by market value said yesterday that 94.4 percent of Tam shareholders agreed to swap shares for stock in the merged entity, Latam Airlines Group SA. Lan extended the offer for 10 days.
Parque Arauco SA (PARAUCO CC) fell 0.8 percent to 882.96 pesos, its second day of losses. The Chilean shopping center developer was cut to the equivalent of hold from buy at the brokerage unit of lender Banco de Credito & Inversiones.
