Mexico Stocks: Banregio, Compartamos, Fibra Uno Were Active

June 11 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Mexico City trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and prices are as of the close of trading.

The IPC index fell 0.8 percent to 37,035.75.

Banregio Grupo Financiero SAB (GFREGIO MM), a Mexican lender focused on loans to small- and medium-sized businesses, climbed 0.7 percent to 37.30 pesos. The company was given a new buy recommendation by Banco Santander SA analyst Luis Guzman, according to an e-mailed research note.

Compartamos SAB (COMPARC* MM), the holding company that controls lender Banco Compartamos SA, slipped 1.4 percent to 14.61 pesos. The company had its recommendation cut to the equivalent of sell from hold at Banco Santander SA by analyst Boris Molina, who cited “competitive pressures.”

Fibra Uno Administracion SA (FUNO11 MM), Mexico’s first real estate investment trust, fell 1.1 percent to 26.64 pesos. The company is investing 520 million pesos ($37 million) to build a shopping mall in Villahermosa, Mexico, according to an e-mailed statement today.
