Poland’s WIG20 Index rose 2 percent to 2153.86 at the close in Warsaw, extending this week’s gain to 4 percent, the biggest since January.

The following were among the most active stocks on the Warsaw Stock Exchange today. Stock symbols follow company names.

AmRest Holdings SE (EAT PW) jumped 10 percent to 69.5 zloty, the steepest intraday rally since Aug. 31. The operator of Pizza Hut and KFC restaurants in central and eastern Europe agreed yesterday to sell 98 Applebee’s outlets to Apple American Group LLC for $100 million.

PBG SA (PBG PW) fell 19 percent to a record-low of 5.4 zloty after Standard & Poor’s cut the company’s rating to ‘Default’ after it filed for bankruptcy this week.
