June 8 (Bloomberg) -- The settlement price for Japan’s Nikkei 225 Stock Average futures and options contracts for June delivery was fixed at 8,613.40, traders said.
The Nikkei 225 Stock Average fell 1.1 percent to 8,534.87 as of 9:19 a.m. in Tokyo. The gauge closed at 8,639.72 yesterday.
The settlement price, also known as the “special quotation,” of Nikkei 225 options is calculated after all stocks in the Nikkei 225 begin trading.
