June 4 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Taiwan trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close in Taipei. The benchmark Taiex Index fell 3 percent to 6,894.66, the biggest drop since Nov. 10.
Power Mate Technology Co. (8109 TT), a maker of direct current converters, dropped 5.6 percent to NT$33.80, the lowest close since July 1, 2010. Sales in May sank 3.9 percent to NT$65.93 million ($2.2 million) from a year earlier, according to a Taiwan Stock Exchange statement.
Rexchip Electronics Co. (4932 TT), a chipmaker, declined 3.2 percent to NT$8.62, the lowest close since March 28. May sales slumped 19 percent to NT$2.68 billion from a year earlier, according to a statement to the exchange.
Via Technologies Inc. (2388 TT), a chipmaker, retreated 5.7 percent to NT$15.65, the biggest loss since March 29. Sales last month dropped 16.3 percent to NT$300 million from a year earlier, according to a statement filed to the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
