May 31 (Bloomberg) -- The World Bank is considering granting a $200 million contingency loan to Uruguay, the lender’s representative in the South American country said.
“The loan will be reviewed by the board in October,” Peter Siegenthaler told journalists in Montevideo today.
In 2011, the bank gave Uruguay a $260 million dollar contingency loan.
