May 31 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Argentine trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are as of the close of trading in Buenos Aires. The Merval Index fell 0.4 percent to 2,256.74.
IRSA Inversiones y Representaciones SA (IRSA AF), the Argentine real estate holding company, fell 4.5 percent to 4.20 pesos. Argentina’s construction activity fell 7.6 percent in April from a year ago, the National Statistics and Census Institute in Buenos Aires said.
Petrobras Argentina SA (PESA AF) fell 0.9 percent to 5.45 pesos. The local unit of Brazil’s state-controlled oil company Petroleo Brasileiro SA said in a regulatory filing today it will increase its stake in Petrolera Entre Lomas SA for $249.4 million.
