May 30 (Bloomberg) -- England midfielder Frank Lampard will undergo a scan after suffering a thigh injury in training today, the Football Association said on its website.
Chelsea’s Lampard will be examined by England’s medical team tomorrow, the F.A. said. Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson has been put on standby notice for the England squad while Lampard continues to be monitored.
England opens play as soccer’s 2012 European Championship against France on June 11.
