May 30 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Chilean trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close in Santiago.
The Ipsa index was little changed at 4,270.76. The MSCI Chile index declined 0.9 percent to 2,250.45.
Masisa SA (MASISA CC) fell for the first time in five days, sliding 0.1 percent to 49.99 pesos. The forestry company declined along with global commodity prices. The Thomson Reuters/Jefferies CRB Index of commodities dropped 1.7 percent.
SACI Falabella (FALAB CC) rose 2.4 percent to 4,531.1 pesos. Chile’s biggest retailer by market value reported an 18 percent jump in first-quarter consolidated revenue on higher same-store sales and expansion in Latin America.
Soc. Quimica & Minera de Chile SA (SQM/B CC), the country’s biggest fertilizer producer, rose 0.1 percent to 27,708 pesos. Net income climbed 35 percent in the first quarter from a year ago as iodine sales surged.
