May 28 (Bloomberg) -- Poland’s WIG20 Index rose 0.8 percent to 2,052.45 at 11:16 a.m. in Warsaw, advancing for a second day.
The following are among the most active stocks on the Warsaw Stock Exchange today. Stock symbols follow company names.
KGHM Polska Miedz SA (KGH PW), the country’s sole copper and silver producer, climbed 1.3 percent to 119.7 zloty, rising the most in a week on a closing basis as the two metals advanced after Greek opinion polls showed greater support for pro-bailout parties.
PGE SA (PGE PW), the nation’s largest electricity producer, surged 2.2 percent to 17.53 zloty, gaining the most in more than two weeks after the company said it has many potential bidders for a stake in its power plant project.
