May 28 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are as of market close in Lima.
The Lima General Index rose for a third session, gaining 0.5 percent to 20,849.26. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index climbed 0.2 percent to 2,662.38.
Panoro Minerals Ltd. (PML PE), a Canadian copper and gold exploration company, jumped 7.5 percent to 72 cents as copper advanced in London and investors bet the company will take on a partner, said Jose Luis Bustamante, head of trading at Cartisa SAB.
Candente Copper Corp. (DNT PE), a Canadian copper exploration company, rose 1.7 percent to 59 cents.
Refineria la Pampilla SA (RELAPAC1 PE), a unit of Repsol YPF SA, climbed 2.4 percent to 86 centimos after crude gained for a third day in electronic trading in New York.
Maple Energy Plc (MPLE PE), the oil and natural gas producer with operations in Peru, advanced 1 percent to $1.05.
Minera IRL Ltd. (MIRL PE), a U.K. gold producer with a mine in Peru, fell 1.3 percent to 78 cents after bullion rose in London.
