May 28 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Bogota trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and prices are as of the close of trading.
The IGBC Index fell 0.2 percent to 14,442.18, while the Colcap Index dropped 0.7 percent to 1,701.09.
Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp. (PREC CB), which operates Colombia’s largest oil field, increased 1.6 percent to 48,480 pesos. Pacific Rubiales agreed to purchase 85.7 million units of CGX Energy Inc. to increase its stake in the oil explorer in Guyana to 35 percent, according to a statement. CGX Energy rallied 30 percent to 42 Canadian cents at the close in Toronto.
Petrominerales Ltd. (PMGC CB), a Calgary-based oil company that operates in the Andean region, gained 2.7 percent to 22,880 pesos. The shares climbed as crude advanced for a third straight day in New York electronic trading.
