May 24 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are as of the close of trade in Lima.
The Lima General Index rose 0.5 percent to 20,637.22. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index climbed 0.4 percent to 2,662.80.
Refineria la Pampilla SA (RELAPAC1 PE), a unit of Repsol YPF SA, rose 2.4 percent to 84 centimos after crude rebounded in New York, said Hernando Pastor, an analyst at Lima-based Kallpa Securities SAB.
Maple Energy Plc (MPLE PE), the oil and natural gas producer with operations in Peru, gained 2 percent to $1.03.
Southern Copper Corp. (SCCO PE), Peru’s biggest copper producer, climbed 1.5 percent to $29.05 after copper advanced in New York.
Cia. de Minas Buenaventura SAA (BVN PE), the country’s biggest precious-metals miner, rose 2 percent to $38.15 after gold gained the most in a week in New York.
