May 22 (Bloomberg) -- Russia’s RTS-Micex exchange plans to split the positions of chairman and president, both currently held by Ruben Aganbegyan, to focus more on operating management and preparations for an initial public offering, Vedomosti reported, citing an exchange conference call.
The board recommended that shareholders approve Alexander Afanasyev, currently deputy chairman, as chairman of the exchange. Aganbegyan will continue as president to supervise IPO preparations.
