May 21 (Bloomberg) -- Dubai’s benchmark DFM General Index rallied 1.5 percent, the most in almost a month, to 1,488.09 at the 2 p.m. close in the emirate.

Drake & Scull International PJSC (DSI UH) advanced 1 percent to 80.8 fils, the highest close in a week. The Dubai construction company is “about to take its first job” in Iraq, the company’s chief executive officer said.
Emaar Properties PJSC (EMAAR UH) gained 2.4 percent, the most since April 22, to 2.95 dirhams. The developer of the world’s tallest tower will begin selling 224 apartments at a residential community overlooking the Emirates Golf Course in Dubai.
