May 20 (Bloomberg) -- An anti-capitalist rally in Frankfurt attracted about 20,000 protesters and was largely peaceful, police said.
While about 1,000 members of the so-called Black Bloc militant group were part of yesterday’s demonstration, there was no serious violence, according to a statement on the website of the Frankfurt police. One person was arrested and later released, police said.
