May 17 (Bloomberg) -- Natixis SA has named the Hong Kong-based Asia Pacific chief executive of its corporate & investment banking business, Hervé Housse, as inspector general of the bank.
He will begin his new role in September in Paris and will report to Chief Executive Officer Laurent Mignon, Housse said in a telephone interview today.
“The inspector general conducts audits and inspection of all activities of the bank globally to make sure risks are correctly managed and regulations are observed,” Housse said.
Housse will be replaced in his current role by Francois Riahi, deputy chief executive officer for strategy at Groupe BPCE. Riahi will relocate from Paris to Hong Kong in September, said Housse.
Natixis is the corporate, investment and financial services arm of Groupe BPCE.
