Lithuania Says Inflation Will Probably Slow to 2.5% in May

Lithuanian inflation, calculated according to European Union standards, will probably slow to 2.5 percent in May, the statistics office said.

Consumer prices, which advanced 3.3 percent in April from a year earlier, may be unchanged from the previous month on easing growth of food and beverage prices, the statistics office in the capital, Vilnius, said in an e-mailed statement today.
