May 17 (Bloomberg) -- The following is a list of companies whose shares may have unusual price changes in central European markets. Stock symbols are in parentheses after company names. Share prices are from the last close.
Poland’s WIG20 Index climbed 0.4 percent, the Czech PX Index slipped less than 0.1 percent and Hungary’s BUX Index fell 2 percent.
Fondul Proprietatea SA (FP RO): Romania’s property restitution fund called a general shareholders meeting on June 27 to approve a planned share sale on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, the fund said in a statement yesterday. The shares gained 0.6 percent to 0.489 leu.
KGHM Polska Miedz SA (KGH PW): The copper producer with the biggest Europan mine output was upgraded to buy from hold at Societe Generale SA. KGHM declined 1 percent to 123.1 zloty.
