Viacom Resolves Its Legal Dispute With Time Warner Cable

May 16 (Bloomberg) -- Viacom Inc., owner of the Paramount film studio and MTV, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central, agreed to resolve a legal dispute with Time Warner Cable Inc., letting cable customers see its shows on more devices.

“All of Viacom’s programming will now be available to Time Warner Cable subscribers for in-home viewing via Internet protocol-enabled devices such as iPads,” the companies said today in a joint statement posted on Viacom’s website. Time Warner Cable also will continue to carry Viacom’s Country Music Television, the companies said.
