May 16 (Bloomberg) -- Egypt’s benchmark EGX30 Index fell for a third day, losing 1 percent to 4,955.31, the lowest level in almost two weeks, at the 2:30 p.m. close in Cairo.

Egyptian Resorts Co. (EGTS EY) retreated 0.9 percent to 1.1 Egyptian pounds, the lowest close since May 7. The Red Sea resorts developer posted a first-quarter loss of 5.51 million pounds ($910,000) after a profit of 1.26 million pounds a year earlier.
Maridive & Oil Services SAE (MOIL EY) declined 3.3 percent, the most in more than two months, to $1.19. The Cairo-based offshore services provider recorded a first-quarter loss of $947,036 after a profit of $18.9 million a year earlier.
