May 16 (Bloomberg) -- Ecuador’s government received bids from at least 10 companies to prepare a site in the coastal province of Manabi for the construction of an oil refinery, Business News Americas reported.
Companies including Acciona Infraestructuras-Constructora Nacional, China Tiesiju Civil Engineering Group, Construtora Queiroz Galvao SA and Sinohydro Group Ltd. submitted offers for contract, estimated to be worth $315 million, the Santiago-based news agency said today on its website. Ecuador will announce the winner on June 8, BNAmericas said.
Ecuador’s Non-Renewable Natural Resources Ministry’s press office declined to comment about the bids today.
