May 11 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Mexico trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and prices are as of the close of trading.
The IPC index fell 0.7 percent to 38,888.79.
Genomma Lab Internacional SAB (LABB MM), the Mexican producer of over-the-counter drugs, climbed 1.5 percent to 26.04 pesos. The shares have rallied 9.7 percent since May 2, the day before it announced it was withdrawing a bid to buy Prestige Brands Holdings Inc., the maker of Comet household cleanser.
OHL Mexico SAB (OHLMEX* MM), the Mexican unit of Spanish construction company Obrascon Huarte Lain SA, tumbled 7.4 percent to 18.65 pesos. OHL Mexico said yesterday in a filing to Mexico’s stock exchange that the state of Puebla voided a concession with its unit Autovias Concesionadas OHL.
Industrias Penoles SAB (PE&OLES* MM), a Mexican miner of silver and gold, fell 2.4 percent to 556.36 pesos. The metals’ futures slipped on concern Europe’s debt crisis is deepening.
