Swedish Inflation Slows to Lowest Level in 20 Months

Sweden’s inflation rate fell to the lowest in 20 months in April at an annual 1.3 percent from 1.5 percent the previous month, Statistics Sweden said today.

That was below the median estimate of 1.4 percent in a Bloomberg survey of fifteen economists. Monthly prices rose 0.2 percent. Adjusted for mortgage costs, prices rose an annual 1 percent and a monthly 0.3 percent.
