May 10 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of market close in Lima.
The Lima General Index rose 1 percent to 21,763.94. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index climbed 0.4 percent to 2,802.36.
Panoro Minerals Ltd. (PML PE), a Canadian copper and gold exploration company, rose 6.3 percent to 67 cents after copper rebounded in New York, said Angel Alcala, a trader at Lima-based Juan Magot y Asociados SAB.
Candente Copper Corp. (DNT PE), a Canadian mining exploration company with operations in Peru, gained 6 percent to 71 cents.
Empresa Agroindustrial Pomalca SA (POMALCC1 PE), a sugar producer, rose 5.3 percent to 60 centimos after sugar futures advanced in New York.
Corp. Aceros Arequipa SA (CORAREI1 PE), the Lima-based steelmaker, climbed 2.9 percent to 2.52 soles.
Alicorp SA (ALICORC1 PE), Peru’s largest foodstuff maker, advanced 2.8 percent to 6.92 soles.
