May 7 (Bloomberg) -- Hungary’s benchmark BUX index fell 0.4 percent to 17,769.72 by the close in Budapest, retreating for a fourth day.
The following were among the most active shares in the Hungarian market today. Stock symbols follow company names.
OTP Bank Nyrt. (OTP HB), Hungary’s largest lender, declined 1.2 percent to 3,709 forint after elections in France and Greece added to concern the European debt crisis will deepen.
Mol Nyrt., Hungary’s largest refiner, dropped 0.6 percent to 16,995 forint. Oil fell to the lowest level this year as European elections stoked speculation that austerity efforts will be derailed and escalate the debt crisis.
