May 6 (Bloomberg) -- Authorities in Rio de Janeiro today impounded a Ferrari belonging to Thor Batista, son of Brazil’s richest man Eike Batista, for lacking a front license plate, O Globo reported, citing local police.
EBX Group Co., the holding company for most of Batista’s assets, didn’t immediately respond to a phone call seeking comment made outside office hours.
EBX declined to comment in an emailed statement.
