May 5 (Bloomberg) -- Egypt’s military ordered an eight-hour overnight curfew for a second night in the area surrounding the Defense Ministry in Cairo, the state-run Middle East News Agency reported, citing an unidentified army official.
Clashes between protesters and military police in the area on during the day yesterday left one soldier dead and injured 296 people, MENA cited the Health Ministry as saying.
The curfew starts at 11 p.m. local time and ends at 7 a.m.
