May 4 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Taiwan trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close in Taipei.
The benchmark Taiex Index gained 0.5 percent to 7,700.95. The gauge has advanced 3 percent this week, the biggest jump since in three months.
Inotera Memories Inc. (3474 TT) jumped 3.9 percent to NT$8.31, the highest close since April 2. April sales totalled NT$3 billion, the highest in eight months.
Nanya Technology Corp. (2408 TT) surged 6.9 percent to NT$2.31, the steepest gain since March 23. April sales were NT$3.41 billion, the highest in 11 months.
