May 1 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies’ shares may have unusual moves in European trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses.
The Stoxx Europe 600 Index fell 0.7 percent to 257.28. The Stoxx 50 Index decreased 0.8 percent to 2,404.55. The Euro Stoxx 50 Index, a benchmark measure for nations using the euro, declined 1.6 percent to 2,306.43.
Hermes International SCA (RMS FP): The maker of Birkin handbags and silk scarves won a judgment that includes $100 million in damages against 34 websites that sold fake copies of its luxury goods. The shares gained 0.3 percent to 267.25 euros.
International Power Plc (IPR LN): The U.K. based utility had its credit rating raised to A from BBB- from Standard & Poor’s. The shares decreased 0.1 percent to 417 pence.
Repsol YPF SA (REP SM): The Spanish oil company blocked a shipment of liquefied natural gas to Argentina because the government failed to supply it with a letter of credit, said a person briefed on the matter. The shares fell 1.7 percent to 14.45 euros.
