April 24 (Bloomberg) -- A gauge of Swiss consumer demand rose to the highest in eight months in March, UBS AG said.
The consumption indicator, which signals developments about three months ahead, advanced to 1.22 points from a revised 0.9 points in February, the Zurich-based bank said in an e-mailed statement today. It had previously reported a February reading of 0.87 points.
