Mangalore Refinery to Sell 40,000 Tons of Gasoil for May

Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd., a unit of India’s largest explorer, offered to sell 40,000 metric tons of gasoil, or diesel, for loading in May, according to a tender document obtained by Bloomberg News.

The company plans to resume operations at its southern Indian plant by next week after it receives all its water requirements, P.P. Upadhyay, its director of technical operations, said yesterday.

Mangalore Refinery, a unit of Oil & Natural Gas Corp., shut its facility in the southern state of Karnataka last week after the local government stopped water supplies because of declining flow from the Nethravathi River.
